I love experimenting with unusual materials.

Recently, my curiosity led me to a Japanese laboratory that spent nearly a year growing this fascinating opal material.

Created to capture the structure and play of color found in Australian precious opals, it flashes with blues, greens, and pinks that shift with every movement.

While carving this opal shell, I fell in love with both sides of the piece. Choosing a favorite felt impossible, so I designed it to be worn from either side, letting you enjoy whichever side of the carving matches your mood that day.
